Crafted with an American oak frame, this one-off occasional table measures approximately 480 × 480 × 450 mm and is finished with a traditional soap treatment that allows the timber to age naturally.
The tabletop features a resin inlay containing preserved plant roots, originally part of a living green wall that was being dismantled. Drawn to the intricate root structures left within the felt substrate, selected sections were carefully cut, composed, and permanently set in resin, creating a surface that reveals an underground logic usually hidden from view.
While related panels from this process exist as wall works, this piece was resolved as a functional table — an object intended to sit comfortably in a domestic space while retaining its material and conceptual depth.
